Bhushan Rastogi, is a Rank-holder Chartered Accountant with a graduate degree in commerce. After a short stint with PWC at the start of his career, he has remained an entrepreneur since the last 19 years. Post-acquisition of Mercados in 2015, Bhushan has been steering the company in the capacity of its Managing Director.
Has been involved in consulting assignments in the areas of Corporatization, Reforms, Regulatory Affairs and Financial Accounting and advisory, Bhushan has previously worked as a Consultant at PWC and as a Partner at Bhushan Rastogi & Associates. Since 2015, he has been leading Mercados Energy Markets India Pvt. Ltd. as the Managing Director.
Over his career span, he has interacted with officials of regulatory commissions, public and private utilities, government, multilateral and bilateral organizations, consumer groups, consultants and academicians. Over the past few years Bhushan has advised a number of organizations which include CERC, CEA, PFC, REC, Utilities across major states and almost all the reputed private sector players.
Professionally a seasoned consultant, Bhushan is a financial & regulatory expert with extensive practical knowledge of accounting systems and procedures of power utilities. His rich understanding of the power sector business & operational environment of Utilities and the emerging industry structure, business requirements and regulatory issues in the sector earns admiration from across the Industry patrons.

Mohit Goyal
Partner
Mohit Goyal, is a Chartered Accountant with post graduate degree in commerce and diploma in business administration. He has around 12 years of rich and varied experience in Policy & Regulatory, Finance and Commercial aspect of Power Distribution, Transmission & Generation, Renewable Energy development and Fuel Related Advisory Services.
Mohit is financial and regulatory expert and has advised/assisted several power generations, transmission and distribution utilities in the filed of Regulatory process, power procurement, fuel related issues, restructuring, and other commercial issues. Some of the key projects include: PMC support for the UDAY program of UPPCL, ARR/Tariff filing/approval related regulatory support to CERC, UPRVUNL, UPPCL MSPGCL, TUL etc. Mohit has worked with key power sector utilities or commission that include the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), Power Finance Corporation, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission, Central Electricity Authority, Northern Regional Power Committee and various other power utilities in India.
As a Partner, Mohit Goyal is also involved in developing and implementing the company's overall strategy and vision. He works closely with other senior executives to identify growth opportunities and developing new service offerings.

Ramandeep Singh
Practice Head and COO
Ramandeep Singh, is the Practice Head and COO of Mercados Energy Markets India Private Limited.
He is an alumnus of NPTI and hold a Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering. In his career span of more than 19 years, he worked in various capacities at Tata Power (Erstwhile NDPL), ICRA and Deloitte in the consulting verticals.
Ramandeep possesses deep techno-commercial and regulatory knowledge and has worked in areas of Market Entry Strategy, Business Plans, Strategic Advisory, Market Intelligence Reports, open access issues, market modelling, Transaction Advisory, Regulatory Petitions fuel related advisory assistance and all facets of Renewable Energy related matters.
Apart from power sector, his core expertise also lies in midstream and downstream oil and gas sector. In his career span, he extensively worked with Regulatory Commissions, State and Private Utilities across Generation, Transmission and Distribution, GAIL, Strategic International Clients, Financial Institutes and most of the Private entities in power sector.
As a Practice Head, Ramandeep Singh is responsible for overall Business Development and ensuring high quality deliverables to all clients of Mercados..

Jayesh Chauhan
Director
Jayesh Chauhan is Director in Mercados Energy Markets India Pvt Ltd (Mercados). He has over 25 years of total work experience, out of which 18+ years is in power sector. He joined Mercados in January 2020 and has been instrumental in growth of Mercados in Western Region including regional office set-up in Mumbai with team of 15+ members.
Jayesh has served in various leadership positions in different verticals of power sector over last 10 years and has worked with more than 25 States/UTs and has developed strong and long term client relationship with utility officials. Jayesh has handled over 100 assignments at Senior level position and his expertise ranges from policy and tariff/ regulatory matters, restructuring, strategic, financial planning, commercial aspects, of generation/ transmission/ distribution/ renewable aspects of power utilities, and more.
Jayesh is a M.B.A. (Finance) and graduated with First Class in Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
Jayesh has over 8 years of cumulative experience in retainer-ship with utilities such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Meghalaya, Goa, and Puducherry. He has also been instrumental in reforms and restructuring projects for utilities such as J&K, West Bengal (Durgapur), Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.
Jayesh has worked as a strategic advisor to a number of public and private companies formulating Entry Strategies for clients venturing into the Power Sector as well as preparing Strategic Business Plans enabling clients to flourish in the industry.
Jayesh has also exposure of working with SEZs in various segments involving licensing activities, regulatory support, corporate structuring, business plan, network rollout plan, load forecasting, and more.

Satyajit Suklabaidya
Director
Satyajit Suklabaidya has more than 18 years of rich consulting experience. As part of his career span he has dealt in the segments of Generation (Conventional & Renewable), Transmission and Distribution. He has been extensively working in the advisory segments of Regulatory, power sale strategy, commercial, contracts, financial appraisals, performance monitoring, market assessment, etc. in the power sector. His clients include State power sector utilities (Multiple State Generation, Transmission & Distribution Utilities), Regulatory Commissions (Central & multiple State), Public Sector Undertakings, Financial Institutions, IPPs/Developers, Industry Associations.
Prior to joining Mercados Energy Markets India Pvt. Ltd., he has worked in leading roles in ICRA Management Consulting Limited and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
He is presently based out of Delhi office of Mercados Energy Markets India Pvt. Ltd. Satyajit holds MBA (Power) from National Power Training institute and B.E. (Electrical Engineering) from Jorhat Engineering College, Assam.
