Position Title	Analyst - Statistician

About the Role: ‘Analyst - Statistician’
We are seeking a skilled statistician to join our team and contribute to data analysis, statistical modeling, and interpretation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistics, data manipulation, and a keen ability to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. As a statistician, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed decision-making.
Detailed set of expectations from the role:
Perform data cleaning, pre-processing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of datasets. Apply a variety of statistical techniques, including descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and multivariate analysis to analyze and interpret data. Develop and implement statistical models to solve business problems, predict outcomes, and identify trends. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data analysis objectives, provide statistical guidance, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Create clear and informative data visualizations, charts, and graphs to communicate statistical results effectively. Conduct statistical research and contribute to the design and execution of experiments and surveys. Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration of statistical methods into data-driven solutions. Stay up-to-date with emerging statistical techniques, software, and tools, and share knowledge with colleagues. Assist in preparing technical reports, whitepapers, and presentations summarizing statistical findings and recommendations.
Required skill set
Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python (NumPy, pandas, SciPy), or SAS for data analysis and modelling. Solid understanding of statistical concepts, methodologies, and techniques. Experience in data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation using programming languages or tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks and priorities. Experience with machine learning techniques and tools is a plus. Prior work experience in data analysis, statistical consulting, research, or a related field is advantageous. Strong report writing skills and good knowledge of MS excel for analysis.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or a related field from a reputed institution with 1-3 year of experience.
Work Location
Base location shall be Delhi NCR. However, the role would require the applicant to undertake travel for pursuing various opportunities.
